Description  The genius of Thomas Alva Edison is well documented. His inventions have affected the world profoundly and while it has been over 100 years since his first patent, our lives are still touched every day by the fruits of his labor.  This particular invention has given way to the computer, but in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, these tickers received signals from exchange floors, via telegraph lines, and printed the most accurate quotes available. They are extremely rare as most of them were simply discarded as old technology or used office equipment.   Today they are seen as valuable commodities themselves and it is extremely difficult to find one.
